HOW TO EARN A VARSITY LETTER

EARNING A VARSITY LETTER IS AN INCREDIBLE HONOR!

Athletes must meet the following requirements to letter in water polo, swimming, and/or diving:

Meet the attendance and participation requirements on the Athlete Contract Throughout the season and the off-season.
Participate in varsity-level competition during the season.
SWIMMING/DIVING ONLY: Qualify for the District Championship meet.
A senior athlete may be awarded a letter at the discretion of the coach based on commitment and dedication to the team.

If an athlete meets the above criteria, final determination of letter eligibility is made by Coach Schermerhorn at her discretion. If a letter is earned during the season, the athlete will receive a certificate at the annual awards banquet. Letters and letter jackets may be purchased at A-1 Sports or Athletic Sewing Company.
